I don't understand how people generate there train of thought. You run a auction for the maximum amount of money you can earn. But yet ive came across many auctions that end early for a private bidder. Thought this ended within 24 hours?

sometimes its not misunderstanding of market value or greed i personally just would rather turn somethin over than sit on it and wait and wait and wait when people bid small amounts tryin to get the best deal

auctions arnt all about making the most possible money its about gettin a return on investment sometimes and other times abbout dumpig alot of extra product and sometimes squeeeking every gp outa people bbut thats not me ill take a fair above market value deal instantly almost everytime over watchin a big go up and sayin 24 hours then watchin someone else bid 18 hours later

time? its not like your toon has to sit there holding it. set it down in the bank or the house, go farm, pvp, pk, fish, tmap, bank sit, watch a movie, take a nap. your not losing anything by letting the auction run its course. With your train of thought you might as well pull all your money out of your 401k right now cause you know time is a factor and you don't want to be waiting till your a 100 years old to use it.

I've always had the understanding that anyone at anytime can make an unrefusable offer. If I offended anyone, my apologies.

Private bidders have always been a part of selling on these forums. Who is to say that the seller doesn't have a right to end the auction immediately? Although I did say the auction would end in approximately 24 hours, is it unreasonable for it to end earlier?

If you were selling a tower (for example) and someone sent you a private message that they would give you 10x the deed if you made the deal right at that moment....you'd refuse? I'm thinking not.
