Because the two of you have no effing clue how reserves work, by chance?

A reserve is simply a point at which the item will for sure sell for the highest present bid over said reserve. If someone bids 500k, and no one bids for two weeks, Robbbbb here can legitmately choose whether or not to take the deal.

Granted, the margin between SB and Reserve here is a bit thin, it's still perfectly normal and functional.

You have part of what a reserve is: a price at which an item will sell for sure. Normally the reserve is not revealed to the buyers/bidders, its supposed to give the seller an opportunity to back out of a sell of they feel the selling price is below their estimated value.

or just have a for the seller acceptabkle s/b up so people cant bid below what you'd accept
