on osi bountys would go over 1 million because of the volume of players on a freeshard they tend to stay low.

to solve this i think you should have to put a min of 500 gold bounty to give people short term counts the person would still receive a long term if no bounty was payed.

I like this idea, it would help keep murder counts off of reds unless a bounty is posted. But I know it will be shot down because of "era accuracy"

i agree we should stay accurate but to what degree i mean we dont all play on 56ks with the odd few on broadband :>

if we as the players and staff can improve on things osi did then does that mean its wrong to have it?

This shard aim's for accuracy, not customization.

People who had 1 million bounties, and even some of the people who have had high bounties on this server(I assume) do so by killing their own characters and posting ridiculous bounties on themselves.

I never put bounties on reds who pk me because chances are, if a red has a lot of money on their head they will simply give their head to their other account and receive the bounty. You're basically giving someone more money when they kill you if you report large bounties.
