Yea even tho Abyz seems to knock me out of almost every tourney, I cant think of a more deserving competitor to get the very first UOSA AShborn bimonthly trophy.

Just out of curiosity, why doesn't the winner get a trophy? Would seem more appropriate all things considered. Or a winner trophy and 2 "participator" trophies or something in the raffle.

Part of me thinks the winner deserves a trophy, but the other part of me feels this is better. The reason, in my opinion, is because a lot of people complained back in server event days that the same few people won every tourney and just stacked up the silver. This way, it gives everyone a shot, even if you didnt win, and gives everyone a reason to join.
And its worked, Ash is averaging over 20 participants for this, and honestly its been the only reason I even log in.

The reasons Menkaure gave are correct. It's to give everyone a chance to win some silver.

Thats not to say it wont change in the future, but that is what it is right now.

The placement prizes are huge, but who knows how things will develop.

Yitamin, im sure you were included in the raffle, only the top 11 got prizes...see where it says "There were 28 items in your list" thats how many names were in the raffle. Might help if you posted the entire list Ash...if you still have a ss of it that is.

Yes Yitamin was included but not everyone who participated won a prize. I wanted to give prizes that were more worth while, so I only did 11 of them.

There were 28 people randomized into the raffle and 11 prizes. So 17 People did not win - which included Yitamin.

There was one name that was DQed and another that was a duplicate out of the 30 names on the participants list.

I believe I won prize #9.. when/how do we get it?
