The Core [PEE] - Battle at Sea!

Players start off at The Gritty Pitcher Tavern in Red Skull Bay



Battle locations will vary
5 ships - either 1 player per ship or depending on turnout 2+ teams (teams wear designated colors)
Teams will recall off the ship key to their ships and wait until the start
Players may only use GM made items (no magic weps, items, wands, etc.)
No invisibility spells, hiding, EV's, summons, (area spells are OK)
Once a player dies they must stay dead and show as a ghost (rezzing will happen once the battle is over)
Planks will be open so you can board and take over other ships (no looting other players)

I'm doing fine so far with supplies. The only trouble I'm having is empty bottles for pots. Of course, regs and kegs are running low but I can manage for now. I'll set up the next event for next week and post with enough time. We can try more than 10 participants to make it a total slaughter fest! I added heals/cures/reds to the bag of supplies so we don't die as fast. Yar!

Tonight! I have lots of prepped bags so we can either do a couple of mini fights or a large 10+ players depending on turn out. Meet at Red Skull Bay Tower anytime before 8pm central. Duels on the dock/roof before hand. Front doors will be locked once participants are all at the tower and ready for action! Arrr!

Remember, if you are participating show up with as little gear as possible....

My only question is I'd like to use my fencer, are we restricted to cutlasses? Or could you provide a kriss or warfork?

Newbie items are your friend! Dagger, newbie kryss, etc. if you want something other than the provided cutlass/bow....

Another great event from HardCore!! Despite the lack of participants, this was one of the better events attended! Calling all Pirates for the next event! Thanks again!

4 seadogs battling it out! Gave us a chance to have 3-4 battles. Good times. Starting to get a feel for what chars are the best. Might need to lock planks next time and make it where you can't board boats. Should be interesting. Yar!!!
