UO Second Age

Every time I try to use the options ( alt O ) I get a fatal. When I run two instances I want the sound on one of them turned off. The fatal error crashes the client to the desktop I have never had this problem before and I can find no reference to it anywhere. It makes no difference what I choose on the options menu. After the crash the option I selected works with the exception of the sound. That will not turn off.
Help please.

If you go into your Ultima Online\Desktop\<Account>\Second Age\<Character Name> folder
You'll find uo.cfg
This file is editable in notepad, and you can control the options manually. If <ALT>O is crashing, the file might have a corrupt line in it. Try copying it from another characters who has a working file.

Thanks I had forgotten bout uo.cfg So far none of the characters has a working menu. I will edit the cfg file
