Spellbook question

Hi there,

OK I'm new on this server and have one question.
If I buy a full spellbook from a player vendor to replace my newbified one, will the new one be newbified? Are all spellbooks (including the ones you might buy at a mage shop) always newbified?
Back in the days I built my own, so I really don't know about that aspect of the game.
Thanks!

If you choose to buy from a vendor, take the time to use the item id skill. When you use the skill a full spellbook shows as 64 spells.

Thanks both for your answers.
Yeah I ID'ed the book before buying. Got it from a vendor behind Yew Bank.

The 2 "fullest" spellbooks in the top level of your pack will stay with the char.

So all spell books are newbied. Kinda.

I was under the impression all spellbooks were newbied. I keep extras on me at times so I can make use of scrolls that drop.

I think the proper word is "blessed". I have never seen a red drop a spellbook.
