Why do the sheep that im storing in my house keep disapearing? I have them in the upstairs, back room of a 2 story building.(L-Shape) Can they be killed up there? I dont think thats whats up but i'll listen to any theory. I retame them whenever i get a chance. They lasted about 3 or 4 days the first time i did it. Then i got more and they disapeared overnight. Is this practice frowned upon? I know they made changes on OSI servers to prevent this but im pretty sure it was ok in this era.

Animals or monsters in your house will disappear after awhile if they are not tamed and you do not perform an action on them. An action being using a skill or sheering them or something like that. Not sure how long they will last, I thought it was ~20 hours, but it might be a lot less than that.

You can trap them, but they don't stay put long. Eventually they disapear and the timing seems to be random. Same with Wandering Healers, Order guards, Hirelings and anything else that you might try to lock inside.

Everyone should get at least 1 wandering healer in their house

Wandering healers unfortunately teleport to the house sign when you try to res and they are locked inside.
