other than the fact you or one of your cronies scavenged it at an idoc less than 2 weeks ago,

Old screenshots mean nothing to me. As the person trying to disprove, it's your responsibility to provide contrary information.

i would say it is the author of the advertisment that is responsible for its accuracy of the content

Burden of proof is always on the prosecution. In UO, until you can prove that something is false it's not.

This is not UO, this is a forum.

Why would anyone offer up 15 million gold or a proper server birth item for a rare that is graphically identical to an item you can fish up for free or buy from a vendor for 8-12k?

You know, if he had come into your thread and consistently smacked you, people would be going nuts and on a witch hunt.

Maybe he is just getting a feel for it. I get that you don't think the item is worth what he is asking, but maybe the price can eventually come down without you telling him how horrible his things are.
