UO Second Age

I've killed a couple NPC's now and havent had any loot on any of their corpse's. Am I correct in saying, T2A era NPC corpse's had loot on them?

When you say no loot, do you mean not even their clothes?
If there's no gold on them, they may have been picked clean by a thief or beggar (other players)

Nothing on them at all... no clothing or anything. they were hired fighters. I dont think that makes a difference though.

Aye, the hires don't drop their equipment when they die, most other NPC's do though.
The gold is the only thing that would have dropped, and if that was stolen beforehande they will leave an empty corpse.
