i see like 5 extra clothes we dont have here in this list, belt? i dont really remember any belts can anyone explain why its on stratics. also are all the armor value on clothes accurate here i mean like 7 armor for a cloak. maybe i should of posted this under questions

i remember 'golden belts' or wahtever were sold on jewelers at the start

Belts were actually completely coded for the paperdoll and everything, but they were never actually used. Someone said that they were sold at jewelers, but I never saw them sold when I played (Beta - Dec. 99). I remember using InsideUO to view the gumps that came with the CD release.. there were all kinds of things that were coded and not used.

Including:
Gimp outfit -- with zippered mask and leather top/pants
Cloth armor -- looked like white cotton sheets

And tons of other accessories.

i imagine they were intended to go in at some point or be kept rare on certain secret vendors or quests or maybe they were just there because of the history of them in the ultima series?

gold belts were a single spawn rare in hyloth. def not purchasable from jewlers. one of the most valuable rares in the game. in fact im sure its still sitting in the spawn location on our shard, but is unable to be picked up. ive seen it when i first started.

I have a gold belt.

It was one of the server birth rares.

Unfortunately, if the gold belt was ever wearable, the client no longer supports it; much like the way you used to be able to just put on hanging armor, the item types are blocked by the client now.

you can still wear hanging armour it just doesnt give the AR value

You can only wear it becuase I hacked the hell out of the item to convert it to a standard armor item type when lifted though. You used to just be able to put it on (without it changing). It never did have AR which is cool for mages becuase it's meddable

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is hanging armor? lol
