Now that i'm thinking of it, I believe the Air Elemental sound in the T2A era was more of a howling whistle with blowing wind sound.

i love the sound for mindblast i think that would be a cool ring tone.

When T2A came out, they replaced alot of sounds, that in my opinion were subpar. I fixed it in these mul files. This has the Air ele howl that you remember and also a few spells have been reverted back to their old sounds. I am not sure if poison is one of them i did, but on my client it has a Swooshing sound when your hit by it.

Anyways, try it out, just rememeber to backup your originals in case you get an error, I have had one user report that they got an error, they were using XP Home, not sure if their user account was in user mode or not. It works for me and a few of my friends that wanted the old school sounds.

i remember liches sounding like the lich lords do now, and that poison sound was more of a... inggggggg sound as opposed to a wooooshhhhh

ya your right I went through the mul file and I must have missed the poison spell. The "ingggggg" sound is currently there, you just have to replace it with the other poison sound the "wooosshhh". Just get Mulpatcher and find the first poison.wav extract it to a file and then import it over the 2nd Poison.wav and it will be the inggggg sound you remember.

If this sound change is correct, I'll make the change on this side and save you the trouble of patching muls.

The poison spell sound that we use was based off of the demo if I remember correctly.

It basically replaces all the T2A sounds with the classic sounds. (example howling Air Ele)
