Okay so basically I am not very good with pcs and connections and would be very grateful if anyone with enough patience could either shed some light or guide me through fixing my problem.
Lets give you some information,
I am from Scotland, I play on a laptop and I also am currently using Vista.
On divinity my ping ranges from 150-400 (This is not a problem I don't see why everyone complains when they ping around 100 or above.) My problem is that I freeze every minute on the minute exactly 7 seconds into a minute for a few seconds on Divinity.

(Please do not de-rail this thread, I just want help if you want to bash Divinity do so in game or trash talk, I dont care.)
Freezes :
at pretty much every minute interval at roughly 40-41 seconds into the minute of the rpv. (e.g. 00:41, 01:41 .... 16:41.)
These freezes are still fairly tolerable to play in just a few seconds frozen while I can't do anything. Secondage on the other hand gives me insane freezes, I havn't checked as throughly for SecondAge if the freezes are consistent but just from playing they seem fairly incosistent and freeze me whenever they feel like it.
The freezes I get range from 2-3 freezes a minute freezing me for 5-15 seconds each freeze, some times the freezes can combo and join together and freeze me for like 20-30 seconds. When I freeze everyone goes in slow motion around me while i can't move talk or cast spells, then at the end of the freeze everything will fast forward to what is actually happening at the time and I will most likely be dead in most situations.
Secondage Ping : Roughly the same as Divinity maybe averaging a little higher, 200-400 ping avg. Ping in a freeze is roughly 3000-10000 avg and sometimes I do not get the packets back.

Freeze at roughly 2:55-3:06, This is a fairly old RPV and the freezes have become more frequent. Like I said varying from 2-3 freezes a mintue freezing me at a minimum of 15 seconds and a max of about 40 seconds.
Basically any help would be appreciated, as I would like to play here but can't unless I live out my house and just craft. I have already got in two fights one with a random red at Moonglow and meat at Destard. Both times I froze and lost about 40 each reg and a gm hally / katana (Which is a lot to me just now, lol)

From that tracert it looks like Route 9 is giving you the problems.. I don't know if there's any way to bypass that route or anything like that unfortunately..
I heard somewhere that Derrick changed the server host some time ago, maybe this added to overseas inconsistancies in connections?
Sorry I can't really give any solutions- It looks like your having a bad connection to a certain host.. I'm not really informed on these routing/connections either- I just remember when I had the same lagging issues you had- it was because one of the routes would always time out- since the change in the server host it doesn't happen as much though.

I heard the server might be moving again? *crosses fingers*
I'm fairly sure its impossible to change what route I use to connect.

I'm pretty sure the lag is directly related to the server. I thought I lagged badly. Then I realized everyone else around me was lagging at the same moments.

Axel, you Scottish bugger, how are things? It's Caps Lock from Divinity. Haven't seen you on this server after about a year ago. I get the samelag freeze, but I'm England I suppose.
