I have a question, well two actuallly.
How long does an item on the ground (not in a house) have before it decays? Also, how long to people and monster corpses last? Is there anyway to refresh a corpse?

Items on the ground (not newbie) will stick around for a minimum of an hour I belive, heavier items stay much longer. A heavy pile of ore will persist for days.

Corpses are on a fixed timer, there is no may to refresh. 8 minutes to decay for NPC/Creature corpses and to bones for players, and another 7 minutes as bones for players.

Thanks, so the decay of items outside is based on stones? For instance (and these numbers are made up), I have 10,000 iron ore outside and it weighs 20,000 stones and lasts for 120 hours before decaying. I also have a chest outside with an unimaginable number of regs inside, it also weighs 20,000 stones, and was placed at the exact same time the ore was. These two items will decay at the exact same time correct?
