I am buying power and vanq katanas.

Without any other modifiers, I will pay 1k per power and 2.5k per vanq.

If the are silver, I will add another 1k.

If they have tactics modifiers, I will add 500gp per 5.

So you're telling me that I can get 6k for a silver +25 vanquishing katana? What have I been doing all of these years?!

Maybe if katanas were on par with pitchforks or gnarled staffs, you might get some for this price.

Are you honestly saying a power kat with no mods is worth more than 1k?

A few months back I sold 20 DP'd Power katanas for 97.6k, they were a variety of tac bonuses but if I averaged the tactics bonus it was probably +5 Power
that's almost 5k a piece - viewtopic.php?f=73&t=58007

I've also been selling DP'd power katanas on my vendor for a month now:
PowerKatanas - 3 to 3.5k
+5 Power Katanas - 4k
+10 Power Katanas - 5 or 6k

I've sold about 30, and granted they are deadly poisoned but that might only increase the value a couple hundred? maybe 500g? which is very optimistic


Vanq Katanas:
I've sold six plain ones for 10 or 11k
+5 Vanqs - 15k sold a few of these
+10 Vanq - 18 or 20k sold maybe two of these

There is never really a set market price for magics but Wych's prices seem pretty accurate and fair. Katanas are the best sword in the game, they're the halberd of one handed weps as far as effectiveness IMO which does increase the price of them.
