UO Second Age

does anyone have any info about the castle in yew which is placed on top of like 3 smalls, a bunch of rocks/trees, and is 1 tile in front of a tower? i came by it today and didnt understand what exactly it was. it had red mobs inside it and as far as i could i tell it was emtpy. no doors, and looks like a glitched out house placing. its maybe 10 screens north of yew bank along the water. any info?

To me it sounds like a evil mage camp. they was ultra rare under this era but happen now and then. They was most common around Delucia in the lost lands and outside dungeon wrong on the grass areas. It worked like a normal tent spawn (most common was large tower, but sometime even a castle could apper if there was room for it) with evil mages. The key to this spawn was that it needed free areas to spawn, the building just dissapered in the same second it spawn if ther was on a blocked area and only left the evil mages. This applys also to the tent with prissoner spawn that also is supposed to dissaper if there is no room for the tent and only leave the prissoner and mobs around him in the open air.

Just a thougt do we have the random orc spawn with a prission cage in the lost lands?

Later the evil mage spawn was changes into smaller camps there the rare blood could be found. Then OSI made this camp spawn they failed to lock down one of the blood tiles and players could pick it up and move it over a server line. After this the blood failed to disspawn with the camp.

Update: I guess this is the place you did find the castle, this time it's a normal tent spawn with a prisoner on the spot.
