Impossible house breakins?

A friend placed and locked a small house yesterday and went off to do some things. Today which was the second time he entered it he found one of the trapped boxes that seem to be everywhere these days INSIDE the house.
Kind of hard to believe someone stealthed in the moment he placed it.
Are there issues or ways someone could break in? (Not that I want to see them published)

There are no house break in exploits. There are a few tricks that people use for breaking in to houses as detailed in other player written threads on these forums, but none involved ever passing though a locked door.
Likely this was a stealther.
