UO Second Age

So now as I am provoking I am getting a message that "verbal taunts might be more effective". So does that mean I am getting to close? It seems like I have been having a more difficult time since the patch, which I think was the point, lol.

Same here, but i keep getting griefed by players...

I have never got the "verbal taunt" message before...that's pretty wierd.

lol, it was part of the new update. It means you fail I believe.

I sure am doing it a lot for 97.7 if that is truly the case

Aye, that is a failure message, you will only get that message if the creature is focused on you as a combatant, and the chance of this failure is based on the creatures intelligence.

well thing is you CANNOT provoke at all a magic creature that is focused on you.. i cant even provoke water eles on eachtoehr

I am provoking the same monsters with the same ease.. I don't see any changes yet

The most problem for me have been dragons. This morning I didnt have any and this afternoon the verbal thing. I even went and hit some deamons and got the message a couple times.

maybe cause i dont have gm provoke.... i get the message EVERY single time
