Funny thing is...
If you find time to play for 2 hours a day doing nothing but farming gold (lets say a tamer or bard template for the sake of argument) pulling 100k an hour for roughly 250 days...you could end up with around 50 castle deeds.
This doesn't include selling misc pixels found from farming over the forums whilst at work or other worldly obligations. Nor does it include being online during one of the half dozen epic idocs over the years that could score you 20 castle deeds in one highly publisized event. Don't forget xmas welfare and other misc free pixel gold.
Not a lifestyle I would choose, but I could see a few achieving it while sustaining a "well adjusted" fulfilling life outside of UO.
