UO Second Age

Has anyone gotten the Third dawn client to work? I have been able to log in, but then I was auto logged out because it wasn't version 5. Is there a way to patch to version 5?

They probably have the server set to reject you because you aren't up to the level they support. I know from building my own server its a pain in the ass trying to support custom clients and a wider range of versions. Also I spent probably 50 hours looking up ways to patch the client. There was a map split at some time which changed a lot of the framework of the client. This game is just too old and I was unable to find much in the way of archiving. Even EA.com had a ftp server for awhile but even now it does not carry UO files on it. Do yourself a favor and just use what they published for use on this shard.
