***Just so everyone knows, blank keys can only copy ONE TIME! So if you change the ownership of your house, they key wont work on the door anymore and you wont be able to copy the new key with it.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe there was a chance of spawning one of these when making a new tinkerer ages ago. I do not believe you will ever start with them anymore now. I guess it would be considered a pre-patched/grandfathered key

As far as I know there's still a random chance of getting one when you create a new char with tinkering as one of your starting skills. Don't recall seeing that that was ever changed, but I'm not 100% certain.

I think they still can spawn on new tinkers but the odds are extremely low - like 1/500.

When making a new char I give them 50 one skill 49 other skill and 1 tinkering. Its UO version of the lottery.
