I have almost 170k. But wouldnt really value the gold I'd get compared to the time it took to gather. If you wanna pay up filthy much I do have it though.

Lol well you cant ever realize your hard work until you sell it, or craft it. And craftin 170k boards would take awhile!

It's usual, when there aren't many new players around, resource prices go up big time because for established players to gather this stuff, it's really not worth less than 9 or 10 gp per ingot or 3 or 4gp per board It's always when there is an influx of new players that ingots go down to 4.5-5 and boards 1.5-2.

Eek! I'll wait then. If I did that, I'd have to raise all my prices to amounts that no one would pay!

Yep it's all about who sees the market opportunities my friend! Ideally people see higher prices, and say "Jeez I could make this for cheaper!" so they go do it, and profit off it. New players do this often since for them it is a good rate of income.

I sold boards a week or so ago for 3gp each, but even that I think was dumb, as I've been chopping the past days to get wood for potion kegs! For my time, it would be a bargain at 2-3 times the price if I paid 2.5 each
