What kind of armor can you wear w/o negating meditate?

What's the highest kind of armor you can wear w/o a dex pen?

Does Lumberjacking affect axe dmg on t2a?

Meditation Guide (see 2nd post)
Essentially anything without metal in it has a much better meditation rate, but all armor slows med to some extent.

Armor Table (from)
The only Armor with a dex penalty is Plate

There is no lumberjacking bonus

If you're looking for some AR without gimping your med rate, the protection spell is real nice.

No, the two spells have the same effect, just group for arch.

Both give 11 AR at gm

Highest armor is chain with ringmail sleeves and gloves with a studded gorget. without a shield (heater) i think the ar is high 30s. (GM crafted of course).

Actually...highest AR comes from Platemail set. Assuming that's GM crafted as well.

Actually, the highest AR you can get WITHOUT DEX loss is Chain.

I wasn't aware you were talking about AR w/o the Dex pen. My mistake =]
