UOSA Vet Players Give Back! Yar!

The drop will be following Boomlands tournament! "There will be a 1v1 PvP tournament at 8pm EST on Friday the 7th of August. This tournament will be at the dueling pits located at 4' 34'N 12' 5'W. Red Pots/GM weapons." viewtopic.php?f=148&t=63674

Friday evening 8/7/15 there will a tower drop full of all sorts of items any new player to the shard would need/want to help get their adventures started! The tower is located on the north end of Compassion Desert (a few screens north of the shrine in case you die). Vets: please keep an eye out and let those you know are really new about this event and help them loot.



Some items you will find:
• ships
• treasure maps
• message in a bottles
• bandages
• cooked fish steaks
• new GM weapons and armor
• new magic weapons and armor
• anniversary gifts (just for fun)
• reagents
• rune books (empty, full t-map set, random locations)
• empty kegs
• full spell books
• cloth
• runes (blank and marked all over)
• christmas tree deeds
• colored sandals
• ingots
• boards
• lockpicks

Here is how it will work! Certain vets will be handing out black bags that contain a book and a special robe made by ???. There will also be a rune to the drop tower and Brit bank with 2 recall scrolls (some bags also have a small house deed in them).

These are intended for new players. Before the tower drops and mayhem breaks out, the Captain will let anyone wearing one of the special robes in for 3 minutes of free looting. Anyone not wearing the robe will be banned and will have to wait 3 minutes for the drop. This will give new players a chance to get their char (get high strength!) in first to carry what they really need. It is recommended that your other chars on the remaining 2 accounts are positioned outside for when the tower falls. Gates will be opened to and from banks so you can drop loot and come back.

Here is the book and robe you will be handed out during the week. Guard it carefully, it will be your ticket in for the early loot. If you wait out front of West Brit Bank before the drop, the Captain will gate you in so that you don't get killed wearing the robe early in the desert. Plan smart, plan ahead, and loot away! Yar!

Gm kegs?

GM kegs would get snatched up by vets. I have empties in there now.

I usually give it to newbs.

I've got a bag of assorted hardening leather armor (82 pieces) and a similar bag of studded hardening (70 pieces) if you wanna add them!

Cool got a bunch of good stuff for new players from Santorum and Rose. Vega, if you have runes to mark for smalls, patios, bricks, etc. that would be cool to add placement spots with runes as well. Added 81+ level 1 maps, MIBS, empty rune books, etc. etc. etc.

I can donate a chest full of various power weapons as well as a chest of fortification & invulnerable armor. If yah want to axe that shiz in the tower

I will donate runes. I have bags full of marked runebooks and runes, np. I'll also donate 250 level 1 tmaps, but please disperse them at least 50 a piece around the house so no one gets 250.

If only this thread had been here a few weeks ago. I dumped several crates of might/GM/force in the garbage that I might have donated. I'll see if I have any other crap left.

HC ill put the lvl 1 maps, and misc stuff that delo is sorting right now.

thanks landlubbers! i've been spreading out the items (maps as example) so nobody can just loot chests and gate out. something like what the bazookas did would be great to pick off those that are clearly not new. i know there are a few people out there that will make sure the "vets" don't try and pk/loot it all.

maybe we need to designate who is really new i.e. on foot, deathrobe. will have chars gating to banks to drop loot and come back plus shrine is dead south for rezzes.

i have a brick set up in Red Skull Bay that you can drop your bags of donations over the tables and i'll spend the next few days sorting and putting in the tower and announce the day/time the drop will happen! yar!

So faaaaaar making progress. Thanks Vega, Santorum, Rose for current donations. Here is what the new player give away looks like so far. Bulk bandages, bottles, regs, full spellbooks, might help. At this rate we can call this CUB 2.0!
