people use deeds here to bid for high value item's to make transactions easy,

keep deeds costs 665,200gp so keep deed +5k = 670,200gp = BARGAIN!

Keep in mind, the gold you spend on the deed is recoverable via reselling the deed to the carpenter. So yeah you might need 665,200 capital to own this keep, but it's really only costing you 5000 gold, since you can re-deed the keep and get your 665,200 back in your bank box again
