UO Second Age

I am just wondering how people got the demo to work from the client directory provided on UOsecondage.com .

I am trying to run it on Vista, but when I run the executable, I am able to install it (I've tried creating the default UoDemo dir. as well as installing it to the empty demo directory), but the program doesn't load properly. It gives me the message:
"Error: You must install Ultima Online Gold to experience the demo."

So, has anybody had any experience getting this to work? Thanks in advance.

After you run the setup from the CD download, it'll ask you if you want to install the demo. It installed properly for me, and it goes into your start menu as a seperate shortcut

I got this prompt both times I tried, clicked Okay, and got the shortcut, but it didn't do anything, so I looked to the executable.

Ugh, it's probably a Vista issue. THank you though, maybe I'll give it a whirl on an XP PC.

Well, I was able to get it to work on the XP machine with no trouble at all.
