does your stats still raise while trying to lower hearding? can you heard monsters? does hearding serve any purpose other then raiseing str?

I had a GM hearder/enticer when Hax Mandoo was trying to pvp with white wyrms. It's pretty useless save for wonky circumstances.

A tamer can make "some" use of herding, but they never do. It just isn't worth the skill points in a final build. It's only real value in my mind is to raise strength which it is great for.

Depends what skill you are raising in order to lower the skill

There's a certain highly deadly use for it, but I'll leave it dead if the server has forgotten.

Herding will not cause str to change if it is set to down or locked.
