The Definition of Unattended Resource Gathering

The other day, I reported to Derrick that someone was gathering logs and ore on 2 clients while only playing another client to pvp etc...not even paying attention to the others.
He claimed this wasn't illegal in any way.
Vlast apparently has 300k ingots for sale, whether or not that's true I am not sure. Fact of the matter is, resource gathering is insanely easy with Razor and other things...Allowing people to do it on multiple clients while they simply play on another is just absurd.
They can GM two crafters for doing nothing, and then get rich off doing nothing! Resources affect the economy just as much as anything else.
My question is, should resource gathering on one or more clients while only paying attention to another that has nothing to do with it be considered illegal? Vote yes if you think so, No if you like it the way it is.
I would have thought that resource gathering on 2 or more clients alone would have been illegal!

Also, I would only assume the people doing this are the ones that vote no.
I just sat in IRC reading people bragging about how they resource gather on 3 clients while pvping on another.
If you do vote no, please state a valid reason why.

I voted yes. I do in fact mine on one char and chop lumber on another. If I do anything on the third account (or anything else at the comp), I have my 2 macroing characters in view attending them. I never have them covered up at any time. I don't think running a program, covering them up and doing something else is attending.

Voted no, Ive explained how my macro works, how I use dual moniters to watch them, and even offered my macro FOR SALE. But people just flamed and laughed and said it was too much money. Now when someone has a fun hundred thousand ingots to sell, posts starts getting made about resource gathering. Hypocrisy!

"Resource Gathering" has to be more specifically defined by the administration.
Also it needs to be stated if you are allowed to play more than 3 characters at any one time. Currently there seems to be no limit.
As they stand now, what Vlad did is perfectly legal. It is called powergaming.

I voted no.
Be realistic, stop complaining about something that isn't actually HURTING anyone.
This server needs more gathers than farmers imo.

It's people like you that really don't understand UO, to you it's all about pvp and ganking GY noobs.
There are many, many other aspects to UO other than PVP.
Simply getting 3x as many resources out of nothing than any honest crafter can, with zero effort is absolutely retarded. Why don't we just 10x all the monster loot as well? These are the things that affect economies, the ones that are generated out of nothing.

its called a loop hole!
somehow i doubt anyone would mine that amount of ore if they had to press at least one key in b/n each ore vein.

Well that is simply too bad, there are already far too many blacksmiths because of this BS, have you all forgotten this shard is about accuracy and what it truly meant to be a crafter?

You know what I find funny Hemporer? Back when I first made Faux Pas, I tamed the hard way and built her up. I watched as Pubert's lube and others that YOU POSTED ABOUT do the easy way and power game it.
I didnt complain... and yet you did.

And herding was fixed, you're welcome.
This is how accurate changes are made, who is truly complaining, me or you?
I made a poll, you have been crying in IRC ever since.

Resource gathering on 3 clients at once is a completely different story...
I haven't seen one valid reply from any of the "No" voters, who all pretty much seem to be the ones abusing the system.
