Casting spells on random objects

I used to cast magery on objects for magery gain. I want to do the same here, as I often want to gain magery but do not want to target on anyone (for example FS).

I remember talk about this previously, so sorry if it was already posted.

Thanks for the bump. I didn't write this one down and it fell off the table. Will fix.

While it may be era accurate, I don't really see the value in it. You can always just cast FS on yourself in town, no damage and no ill-effects. Whats the problem with that?

The only thing I can think of is if you want to macro it in your house (outside of guards), but really, if you don't want to gain resist from doing it that way, why do it out there at all?

But hey, if its era accurate, sure why not.

There are reasons why this is useful.
