I've seen these as a silver trade in but have no idea it is. What is so "Special" about it?

A special dye tub offers hues you cannot get with a normal dye tub. Here's a reference (may not be 100% accurate, haven't checked) just to give you an idea. http://www.uoguide.com/Special_Dye_Tub

The "charged dye tub" were an old silver trade-in option which are no longer available. This was done because "a limited charge tub" should not exist in T2A. You can still spend silver on a "special dye" bolt of cloth, so the hues are still obtainable.

Got it. Was hoping to dye a Bone Container. I know they were patched out so... No thanks. ;P

so, can I dye a 60k stack of cloth?

I think you just get one bolt.

I pretty sure he's asking if he can dye a stack of 60k cloth with the dye tub. which the answer would be yes.

You can dye a 60k stack of bolts which would be 3 million cloth.

If you do the math and currently only being able to obtain these special dyed bolts through the current system at 10 silver each. This one charge has the potential to be worth a substantial amount.

60,000 bolts x 10 silver each = 600k silver = converted to gold at 9k per silver = 5.4 billion LOL

The only problem with this is that if you dye that much cloth you'd instantly reduce its value tremendously.

True, but only if you disperse it. I personally can't see getting 60k bolts, but even if you get 5 or 10k bolts and dye it, it is well worth a castle deed value.

I will also sell 8k bolts with it if the buyer needs cloth.
