UO Second Age

i am not sure but from talking to other players in game they used to have an animation that would look like it pulled your toon into the case and then it closed causing damage
as of now thye jsut close and you get hurt

yep, that was at the necormancy expansion though - when they gave them out as gifts to people who pre ordered AOS

I specifically remember at the end of Covetous 'torture hall' there being an Iron Maiden and that if you double clicked it once you got a "warning" and if you did it again, it would pull you in.

This was pre-T2A and I'd imagine spanned into T2A, UOR, LBR, and probably AOS and onward

The one in Hythloth L2-A4 (on stratics lockpicking map) opens when you click it and gives you a warning, I havent clicked it a second time however.

definitely pulled you in with animation and all during T2A, i remember that clearly because it was one of those little things that made me fall in love with this game!

I'll see if I can get this working. It'd be nice to have an rpv of this action. I'm sure it would still be active on EA UO.

From my memory, there was never an animation when you went into the iron maiden.
You were just "teleported" inside.
