UO Second Age

I believe our success at achieving population growth has two answers: Blogs and Twitters. We should gather some good screenshots, information, youtube videos, biography, etc... package it all together and make it the intro page for http://www.uosecondage.com.

What I envision is forwarding this package to as many bloggers (if we can have our own that'd be great) and twitters (same) who are online gaming related to really showcase what the server is about.

Some ideas to throw in :

1. UOSA History Museum tour guide
2. Daily Planet
3. Player vs. Player youtube videos
4. Screenshots of oddities/features
5. Information regarding game mechanics, stuff that would entice old-schoolers

I'm going to attempt to try piecing it together myself, but would appreciate any help I could get along the way. If we can get a nice thread of content to put it in it, that'd be great also.

So in short it's a blog. Lately it has been on the news because Ashton Kutcher and CNN are almost racing to be the first on twitter with 1 million followers and has thus brought much attention to twitter. So much in fact that my dad asked me what twitter was the other day, and he only reads a very conservative newspaper and doesn't own a computer at home...

So this is a rough version of what I am talking about. A page just dedicated to giving an overall look of what the game is about, how to play, some community stuff and a video. Think of it as promoting a band or something.

It's nothing special, but I was hoping people could help me out with putting together better footage consisting of the following:

1.Field PvP
2. Crafting at Brit Blacksmith
3. Fighting Orcs
4. Dragon Hunting
5. An Event with lots of ppl

And with some permission, I'd like to add a few snippets of some player adventures, pics, etc.

I run a webpage for our guild but would happly help turn it into a shard blog and what not, http://www.UOSAMerchants.com I am interested in this as well, if we had a few different reporters who coverd different things such as PvP, PvM, Dungion Hot spots, Merhchants & vendors, we could do interviews with Staff Members (ventrillo and IRC) (I also have my own public vent server for this and public UOSA use) do interview with players, well known, loved & hated I will gladly offer up hosting space and get the ball rolling, or help with the project!

I'm not one for social networking at all but I respect it's power. If there's anything I can do to help please let me know.

Oh, I don't twitter, and I've never even visited the site. I was just sharing information on what it was and pointed out how popular it is by mentioning the "race".
