Dread Spider spawn in cove level 2

On almost every shard ive played including osi, dread spiders spawned in cove level 2. I def remember it was 2 dreads and I believe 1-2 regular spiders. It makes no sense that there is mob that only spawns from tmaps, thats just not how tmaps were designed, you get a mix of hard mobs collectively gathered from around the map. So where are the dread spiders? Here is the spot I am talking about, as you can see from the webs this was for a spider spawn.
After doing some searching I found this on http://www.uoguide.com/Dread_Spider about Dread Spiders, and allthought this is current osi spawns you can still see cove level 2 as a spawn location. Also take alook at when they were introduced into UO, shortly after release, meaning they had to be in for t2a.
Stratics also mentions the dread spider being seen in UO Early 1998.
