The best Town/moonglow addition name for our Guilds home will win 15k! Please all Name Ideas post here so the $$$ Guild can judge

we reserve the right to not choose a winner at this time if no suitable name choice has been presented.

The Syndicate of Successful Salesmen have so much in store with the addition of fully decorated and active vendors in ALL our moonglow houses, A newplayer strip with all the necessary house add-ons to start your new crafter & books to tell them the best way how!

We also have so many events in store It would be a shame to spoil them all here, but coming up in the next few weeks will be the [$$$] Sponsored House Deco Contest, A Floating Market & Vendor Festival III

With so much going on in our simple island we think a few additions have been earned, while we plan to request decoration for our whole town, it is not yet complete! so we wish to enhance the main focal point of our town, The Rune Tower & Vendor Mart

here are the Proposed Changes




1. Dirt path connecting the existing Moonglow road to the $$$ Tower and Dock
2. "fix" up the 1Tile dock to the east of the tower to match existing terrain
3. A bulletin board for players to place orders with the guild
4. The Rug is a merchants wet dream, all the merchant guilds in sosoria are decked out head to toe with them, it seems fitting for us to also join in this merchant tradition!
5. A bazaar style tent canopy with merchant/trade style decoration, as well as general "sprucing up" ie lamp posts, flowers, boxes & crates etc, "general deco"

This is out Request! Please Vote appropriately, remember 15k to the winner of the Best town name!!

In addition I would request if you DISAGREE with these addition please post your reasons & what our guild can do to improve!

I agree with the changes, particularly the bazaar style canopy, for which you can use to hold swap meets and what-not. I don't think the 1 tile dock could be fixed to match the landscape though as the land is all static .

What exactly are we trying to name, I'm not quite sure I understood.

Our Town, or Addition to moonglow, because it seems more like a second part of the existing town already!

I think one thing that may add to the feel of this merchant guild would be to have the bazaar canopy be able to hold vendors, just a thought.

I vote yes. You guys contribute quite a bit to the shard and I don't think you are asking for much.

You would just need a GM to move the vendors into the canopy after you place them. I think that's a greay idea. Mabye even set them up like a real bazaar next to the really nice looking dock you already have. Sort of like they're waiting to peddle their wares to incomming fisherman.

For a name, why noot keep it simple? Moonglow Market or something similar

hehe that was the original idea, but to make it fair its going to be an open contest for everyone and their homes, BUT there will be a twist

we are just getting enough donations in by the guild to support the prizes then it will be announced


and in reality the layout will be up to the discression to the GM decorating if we get the add-ons, while my drawing lists what I Would like to see its very possible it may not lay out that well or might be other better ways to lay it out, I opted out of a canopy on the left side because I figure the house sign would interfier with it, but again I dont know since I dont have GM decorating powers!
