Anti cheat program required?

How about requiring people to run an anti-cheat program which detects EasyUO, speed hacks, and other exploits, in order to log into the shard?

While they are not 100 percent fool proof, they would def stop 99 percent of the current exploiters.

I would definitely not have a problem with running a program like this on my machine.

Might be a huge undertaking in itself to code that (no idea). I think Derrick said they can detect this stuff anyway on their end so not sure if it would really be necessary. I know PunkBuster (PB) exists for America's Army; good idea but not sure how needed/practical it is.

If a program like this does come out, it would have to work with almost all anti-spyware/virus/firewall programs. I know this one anticheat program used for some free games would determine my Comodo firewall/anti-virus as a cheat and I couldn't play.

Just write a c program that scans memory for known names and bans if it seems them, Derrick is a pro, I'm sure he could slap one together.

No they can't.
