He is creating value by dominating a resource. That is basic economics and I think he's right on.

Here's a fascinating discovery:

I joined the Mage's guild for just 500 gold and I get discounts on their regs. BP is the most expensive at 4, everything else being 3.

Now, if I were to "conveniently" buy your regs, I'd be paying an extra 11,000 gold pieces...

Sounds like a huge rip-off to me.

The mark-up is for not having to gather them yourself.
