Due to a security flaw that was found, I will no longer be running the lotto vendors since I won't be able to guard them during server restart every day. The games weren't compromised during this last week but I can only assume they will be at some point if left up. This also means this will be the only week I will holding the lotto ticket game until I find another way to sell them. Only 7 tickets were sold, so the jackpot will be 25k. IF there are no winners, I'm offering a refund to everyone who bought them. The winning number should be announce here within the next two hours. I'm leaving up the lotto ticket rules until a winner has been paid or until all refunds are given.

*Lotto Ticket vendor rules*
This will be a drawing held every week based off of the Washington State Lotto. On the vendor are 56 books, each with a winning number (1-56), a verification code and the date of the drawing. The winning number will be determine by the First number drawn for the MEGA MILLIONS lotto drawing, which is held at 8pm pst every Friday. The Lotto Ticket vendor will be closed a few hours prior to the drawing. DO NOT SHARE THE VERIFICATION CODE WITH ANYONE!!! If more than one person comes to me with the winning number/verification code, the ticket will be VOID. So please just place it in your bank after you buy one for safe keeping. To claim a winning ticket just simply pm me here in the forums and I will work with you to meet up with you in game.

Lotto Ticket Jackpot prize: The starting jackpot is 25k no matter how many books are sold. The jackpot will go up 1k for every book sold over 30, up to a maximum jackpot of 50k. Jackpot size will be posted in this topic shortly after the vendor is closed. If there are no winners the money will go to seed the next drawing, again up to a maximum of 50k.

I love creative vendors, and I love UO casinos even more. I first started playing UO on Great Lakes when T2A came out, and on that shard there was a casino open a couple nights a week called the Cap and Dagger. They ran an honest business, made huge profits, and a lot of people had lots of fun gambling away their gold.

I encourage anyone interested in running a UO casino to read about the Cap and Dagger in the Stratics archives. Somewhere, there's an essay about their different games, how they worked, how they handled security and prevented cheating, etc.

As soon as I can verify that this everything here is above board, I'll be sure to add your operation to my shop's Vendors and Player Establishments book!

All jackpot prizes on the games can be found in the books in front of the vendors. But I'll add the info here on the forums as well in a bit.

Edit: Prize info can now be found in the forum. If anyone has a better way to display starting and current prize's on the vendors please let me know.
