Increasing attack last throttle delay

After doing a lot of dueling in the current system, there are still a few flaws. The most detrimental would be the people that are still holding down attack last even with the 1 second throttle put in. With the tab throttle, there is no way to avoid punching with someone holding attack last down.
Let's just say two people are dueling. One guy is dumping on the other, and all the guy getting dumped has to do is hold down attack last while chasing and spamming mini heal in order to make the dumper lose their next hit and thus not kill the person. The best solution to this problem that I can see is increasing the cooldown to 2 or 3 seconds instead of one. People will still be able to attack last when they want, but will need to time them effectively instead of just holding down a key.
This is really the only serious flaw I can see with the current system, other than the random interrupts which I am biased on to begin with.

I"m for it, but make it also independent of the object delay.

I 100% agree with Choppa.
It will actually take somewhat skill to time your attack last target.
Please implement.
Also, no flames please. I would hate for this thread to go into the trash talk.

Would this effect every attack last across the board? I.E. in PvM situations?

Yes.
It does not affect casting on a target.
Ex: If you cast on a target(Harmful spell), you will be tabbed on to him everytime.
The thing we are talking about is if you use the razor macro, Attack Last Larget.
This is an option that copies dbl clicking, but instead of dbl clicking, you just push a button to tab on.

I'd like to know what resource an increased throttle delay would be based upon?

What exactly does spamming Attack Last do for you, anyway?

Makes your opponent hit you and therefore lose their swing

It has no effect on any part of the game other than pvp, which is a major part. The way it currently is it is almost impossible to kill someone unless you basically just try to cast through their attack last spam because you won't be getting a weapon hit in. Just pray they don't wrestle interrupt you as well, which seems to be happening a lot now. It's just really annoying seeing people hold down attack last instead of using it properly and timing it to the very last second of a cast. An increased throttle duration would be a quick and easy solution to the huge problem that exists.

The current throttle only currently helps with packet flooding not the event of being able to spam it in pvp in my opinion. When people were bitching and whining about the already inaccurate Razor feature that unequips and drink pots the throttle was lowered. People don't realize when that was changed in the testing phase that attack last spam also changed being more spammable than previously.
I doubt that Derrick will probably give anymore effort or time in fixing this problem for now. He told everyone the last time that he was tired of revisiting this piece of code time after time, and that this would be the last time for awhile.
You sure can hope though...

The answer would be a dueler lovers opinion over era accuracy. The timer needs to be reduced back to what it was. This .8-1 sec delay is completely un-accuracte and never existed on osi.
This server is, and will not be based around duels.

Vlast, 1v1 is a major part of UO. You're crazy if you think it's not. Most fights in the field will end up being a 1v1 unless you have guildies on. If the 1v1 system is flawed, there is a big problem. Just because you play a dexxer doesn't mean your lack of care holds more value than the most popular build in t2a.

So is there a t2a era accuracy basis for this or?
