UO Second Age

The link does not load from mirror site.. I am downloading Mondain's Legacy but I am not sure if it will work since T2A is recommended. Advice?

Also, where do i download the approoriate patch?

ML will work, not sure why the FTP is down, it's not ours but I ised to just a couple days ago.
To patch up, run UOPatch.exe in the installed folder. Try to cancel after you've patched to 5-0-8c

T2A Era client with patch to version 5.0.8.3 (ftp)

1. Go to http://www.utorrent.com and download the torrent client there.
2. Install it.
3. Download the actual .torrent from this site [no longer available]
4. Save it to your desired location
5. Unzip it
6. Double-Click it
7. uTorrent will open up asking you where to save the file... pick your desired location and click OK.

This is probably the fastest download you'll get if there are enough seeds.

Do I need FTP server software installed on my PC? I want to share out files on a large LAN to about 50 people. Can't I just share out a folder and set permissions and let them map it? Someone suggested FTP. Why? Security?

But sure, share a folder with permissions if it's on a LAN.
