I'm not positive if this is a bug or just a trick I hadn't seen before:

REPORTED ISSUE: Player is able to vanish south of litch room in cove

ISSUE DETAILS: A player is somehow able to "dissapear" in the entryway south of the litch room in cove. See picture for details. The avitar is not visable, and there seems to be no way to strike the player while they are in this state. They are not running in and out of the dungeon, they are static and you are able to see thier name with "all names" but not attack. The player is not on the roof of the entryway.

ENVIRONMENT DETAILS: Don't think it makes a difference on this one.

STEPS TO RECREATE: I am unable to recreate, simply witnessed the event

EXPECTED RESULTS: The player is unable to be hit by melee weapons

DATE REPORTED: 6/10

STATUS: Investigating

DATE STATUS CHANGED: 6/13/2009

Are you talking about the guy coming from the other end of the teleporter and walking behind the hall outside of the entry way?

If so that was always possible to do...

I think I know what you mean, if you walk out of the dungeon and then walk north instead of south you'll be in a space within the mountain. You should however be attackable in that space though.

I was able to get this pic. He was not attackable, either by clicking on his name or using all names to attack.

Thanks for the screenshot.
It looks to me like this may be someone on the other side of the mountain. The name will be pinned to the edge of the screen like that if they are too far away to see.

I pinned a NPC over there on the other side of the hill for this shot:
