i found this sword, not sure what to make of it.
is it a quest item? pre patch item? or other?
(the one in the middle)
its name is spelled like this "a long sword"
i am showing it here next to a regular "a longsword" and a regular "a broadsword"

Its just another graphic for a long sword. That is the thin version. Not sure if its a rare here, not sure why it would be.

Hmm I dont recall seeing the one in the middle very often. Might be rare.

Different spelling? Different graphic? Never see it in-game?

If it walks and talks like a duck...

They used to exist all over on OSI back in the day when i played. Was what someone else mentioned, just a different graphic.

I found tons of these along with shemp blades, they are only rare for those who don't really bother to look but occasionally

I've gotten a few of these off of NPC nobles I believe.

Also, I just purchased one for 33 gold off of a weaponsmith.

Not rare at all.
