UO Second Age

I see alot of people who are kind enough to loan their recipes for macroing. I usually like buffing my skills on my primary characters as they venture. Yet now I have reasons to make a multitude of characters and would like to learn more about macro scripts as I plan on making sometimes characters to play/othertimes npcs to envelope a roleplaying playstyle.
My primary question is how to copy the scripts and paste them into the macro directory. I would also like to learn about writing my own formulas to patternize bot behaviors and skill usage which may be advanced so I need to learn basics first.
My second question...does anybody have the time to give me the second steps of macroing or pointers on how to use razor effectively?
