certain things need to be considered with this, like the fact that there are 2 -3 GM's available here to help players (besides doing their GM stuff) and thats when they are not living their real lives, so a player could wait hours upon hours if they were stuck in their house... some things while "not era accurate" have to be taken into consideration with the shards limited staffing capability.

Do you really want Matron gating people into a house and leaving them there with no place to go for hours?

do you really want people to be able to abuse the stuck option during fights?

maybe a wait timer of 5 mins to remove yourself from a house would fix the entire problem.

or recruit more counsys.

You can just remove thyself and target your self for the same effect, and thats era accurate.

Wrong. Only friends and co-owners can do that. You cannot eject yourself wrong a house you have no relation with.

"Remove thyself" Friends and owners of a house can issue this command. It will bring up a targeting cursor to eject someone. Friends and owners cannot be ejected. The targeted individual will be sent outside the house, 3 tiles from the door

so what your saying is they should make a change that would drastically make things inconveinant for players & GMs becasue a few people "abuse" help stuck durring pvp?? Frankly I am interested in hearing how this is actually "abused" its all seems kind of trivial.

If you log out inside a house that you have no relation with and log back in, you will be outside the house.

True, but it isn't insta-log off. It's 5 minutes I believe, enough time to become a ghost, right?

During Beta testing - logging on in a house didn't eject you. A popular method of breaking into houses was to log out in an obvious spot for a house on a newbie and waiting for one to be placed.

Didn't matter much anyway -- since it was Beta.

SO remove thyself can be used to exit a building without having to open a door?

If you are friend, co-owner or owner : yes 100%.

If it were removed and the trash barrel was 'fixed' then you would have twice as more attempts to break into a house in an easier manner.

I vote yes.
