Monster Smuggler Temp

Okay I want a template that would be able to tame entice and provoke monsters. Tame the ones that can be, entice the ones that cant and lure them for transport upon ships, and still have a few skills to be able to survive the ordeal
I heard you can't gate monsters true?
So would my last skills be magery resist?
Or would I need to spread the points out a little further then a mere 7 skills in order for it to be playable?

Your going to need magery, for gating purposes. I would go for meditation as the final skill. Your barding skills should negate the need for resist along with magic reflect and your pets/prov will be dealing the damage so no real need for eval. Or 50 med/eval maybe. Or vet and magery, depending on what your doing with your tames.

Well I believe there are monsters you cannot tame or herd right? These nasties need be enticed and trapped upon a ship as they cannot be commanded...only enticed. Enticement is much like provoke but the monsters would not be casting/breathing fire/etc at you when they follow.
You can gate pets/mounts/and herded creatures but not enticed beings if I am not mistaken. Thus smuggling in the unaccessible creatures and putting them in areas you'd never find them otherwise. Whether for entertainment purposes or something more sinister in mind.

are you sure enticement works like that on this shard? I remember big problems with that skill along with peace making. You may want to do some testing before you build the template.

Peacemaking works, thats why you forget that you are battling to listen to the music. I never found a use for enticement until now.

unless the fixed it in the last couple of months??? peacemake does not work, as it was broken during the t2a time period making it accurate.

By broke i mean... You can use the skill and get the message but monsters only stop attacking for 1-2 seconds... then you have a skill delay before you can use any of your other bard skills or hiding or whatever. In era it was a useless skill.

For some reason i think something was jacked with enticement in era as well but to be honest i never new anyone who found a use for it!

I always like seeing different creative templates.

there is how enticement works on this shard
and as far as peacemaking goes its good to use as a disrupter for spells or to get yours in and casted, far from useless when dealing with hallywhackers

What kinda monsters are you plannin on smuggling? Most of the baddest creatures are tamable.(ie. Nightmares and White Wyvrns) The only thing i can think of is Wisps...and what good is a boatload of wisps?

As soon as a monster wanders too far away from his spawn point, he will teleport back.

Depending on your client, enticement may be called discordance.

Sorry, but it seems as if this idea won't work.
