Weight limits in banks?

So, I'm confused by some conversation about the recent patch (which is awesome BTW). Is there a weight limit to the current bank box, or is it unlimited?

Aye, when it says the weight of gold doesn't even contribute to weight displayed when the box is opened.
Weight restrictions in banks were lifted in Nov of 1999 for all items. This is a little (barely) after our timeframe, but that should be left for discussion elsewhere. For now, banks have only an item count limit or 125, and gold in top level does not count.
