UO Second Age

I was playing today at Brit grave and just killed two elder zombies. The loot had severed zombie heads.
The problem is that I cant move the item, it got stuck on my backpack. It says I canot pick that up.
Are those quest itens?

Another question I have its about smelting dull cooper itens. They give iron ingots. Is that how it was on T2A?? I was training blacksmith making katanas with dull cooper, when I smelt them, I got iron ingots.
