Since checks are not era accurate, and we did have them for a while, there should be a deadline to cash your check by before all checks are deleted from the server.

I agree, those who remain with checks out of fairness should have them all cashed and sent to their banks asap. Because Checks have been disallowed, out of fairness to all they should be removed entirely from the game or returnes to former status.

I think this is reasonable, considering a few lucky people (myself included) read the warning in IRC the night before and created several checks in advance. I wouldnt mind if they turned into piles of gold.

I got the warning and turned my checks into cash, had i known they would turn into rares? I wouldn't be saying to delete them, but now looking from the other side of the argument(those without checks). MUST DELETE CHECKS, NOT ERA ACCURAAATE. NOT FAAAIIIIRRR.

back in osi shard those of us who watched patch notes knew checks were going to be stopped and we kept the ones we had and they became rares.

Lol, im not sure its considered vision if its happened before. Then again, i am not expert on such things

No, checks stay. Ones that are left are grandfathered in. This has been the policy of this shard on other patches as well. *Take note of locked down items on front steps*


Oh, and epic fail for not making this a poll!

The checks should have never been here in the first place if we have pulled them in the name of era accuracy. If they shouldn't have been here, they shouldn't continue to be here.

This is what we call "planning ahead". Can't punish someone for holding onto their checks/creating some before something is patched. It's really not a big deal anyway house deeds can usually help you put together a trade anyway.

Just a thought on this, checks were never "warned" to be deleted on OSI because they never existed, they were introduced and still exist today on osi

The difference about OSI, is when they set a minimum amount for checks, people kept their 1 gp checks as rares. This case is entirely different, as checks altogether have been removed from the game.

quit crying stephen. half the rares on the server are becuase something was patched.
