Here's my thoughts summed up:

Killed by massive spawn, check
Killed by pk once, check
killed by pk twice, check
killed by TTstoner's white wyrms while I was looting a trophy off a corpse.... check. LOL
Rezkilled by someone unknown, check.

Even if I died a bunch, it was a blast (and dieing is part of the game). Got to stay alert!

Edit: although I died a bunch, I still made away with a lot more than I lost

Once my character is finished...pks won't be so bold.

Thanks for the kudos! I really enjoy being able to run the events here on UOSA. I recently received a promotion that will make running events such as this a little smoother and easier to do, so I hope to have them a little more frequently. Thanks to all those who showed up and participated. You guys put up quite a fight! Hope to see you all on Monday!

I hate that I missed this event. Is there anyway for me to find out about these other than being ingame? I am looking forward to the one on July 13th.

Usually events like the town invasions are done on the fly, and there is no advanced warning. We like it that way as it adds an element of surprise, and hopefully adds to the overall enjoyment of the event. Though notifications are sent out over broadcast in game, which also goes to #secondage channel in IRC. Dont worry though there are more to come!

There is a lot of activity at these events along with good loot, they're pretty good for the shard.
