UO Second Age

There is someone named "asdf" spamming the ip and port of another shard at the WBB. I already put in a GM notice, but not sure there's anyone on so i thought i'd post it here as well. Hopefully he gets dealt with sooner rather than later.

This is why we need purple pots to do full damage in town!

Few guys killed him again and I bought 30 pets to block off the britain healer...

Just realised this isn't as genius of an idea as we once thought, he may just make another character heh

though i'm glad staff got to him i really don't think he is a threat .. our players are here cause they want to be and i don't think a spaming noob is going to cause anyone here to even think about changing ip and port to even check out another shard (unless they intend on crashing the shard for revenge {we do have some truly evil members on the shard })

Seconded. I think the idea of T2A is so solid that no one is just gonna pack up and try another random server because of some guy at the bank.

For those that saw the server info. . . . log in and setup a character at the WBB spamming the info for this one.

I immediately had this idea as well... as I think about it more though this probably isn't a good idea and I think Derrick has mentioned specifically to not advertise this shard on other boards(and i'm assuming shards as well)

Yeah, don't go advertise on their shard... it starts bad blood. We don't even know if this guy was staff at the other shard or just trying to pump it up.

I think the idea is to either use poison (even after you are whacked it continues to kill) or make sure no NPC's are around (as they auto call guards) and make sure no players are around which will call guards.

At any rate, the initial reaction is to spam their shard back, hack it, whatever. But as noted above, its not necessarily even the servers fault. Consider how many people from T2A go spam other shards...does anyone know? There really is no way to know because its not official. Heck...maybe this guy was doing it to get revenge on someone spamming over there.

i feel anyone spaming like that on any server should have their ip's written down by the staff and that info sent to any and all hack channels on irc .. now that would be funny. lol jk

I dont think we should underestimate people spamming other shards...Its how i got here!

But it gets into peoples heads and makes them talk...




Ive already reported 2 or 3 spammers but one time noone was available to take my report. Is it a viable option to post here to let someone know? With the destruction of other UO servers(Divinity & Angel Island) were prolly gonna have new people showing up all the time for their UO fix...Let people advertise on their own time and space.

Honestly best thing to do is learn how to townkill .. "i'm no expert" though one guild on shard i'd ask is CA for town killing help .. they seem to know what they need to do and have the resources to do it ..?
