Double gating....

What happens if you and another character can gate and you walk through the gate you cast but the second player casts gate to a different location precasting it and finally opening it as he stands atop the destination place?
Does the second gate have to be rentered after stepping outside the first one in order to function? Does it automatically dispel the first gate?
There is no way on Earth for gates to stack is there? Which gate would dispel if both are in the same location if both remain and one is dispelled? Or being its a field spell would both be dispelled? If one side of the gate disappears if dispelled must it first be dispelled before placing a second? Would you be able to still gate from the side that remains?
Silly questions I know.

if you come through a gate and appear on another gate you will not go through, you have to walk onto a gate (or double click) to use it, otherwise if you entered any gate you would perpetually bounce back and forth until they timed out. Dispell field only works on 1 targeted object, if you dispell a gate with another gate under it, only the one you targeted will dispell. If there are 2 gates on one tile, you will enter whichever was cast first usually, but this seems a bit random.
